Feeling unsure about what to include in your birth plan or how to even start birth planning? This online class will guide you through the process step-by-step. 

Taught by Registered Nurses who are Certified Childbirth Educators with specialized training in Perinatal Nursing. You’ll learn how to make informed decisions and communicate your preferences with your care team. We’ll discuss evidence-based options for labour, birth, and postpartum care so you can feel confident, flexible, and ready for whatever your birth experience brings. Designed for both hospital and home births, this class helps you understand how to adapt your birth plan to different settings and situations.

• Key choices to consider for labour, birth, and newborn care
• How to communicate your preferences effectively with your healthcare team
• How to prepare for both your ideal plan and possible changes
• Practical tips for sharing your plan with your support person and care providers

You’ll leave this session with a clear understanding of your options, a personalized birth preferences worksheet, and the confidence to advocate for the birth experience that feels right for you.
